AP SBTET Diploma Hall Ticket 2026 Out – Download October/November Admit Card, Exam Date

per a job-portal report dated 4 November 2026 and the Board’s own notice listing: the hall ticket download page for the AP SBTET Diploma October/November 2026 examinations is active on sbtet.ap.gov.in, and the exam notification for this session was listed on 7 September 2026. Still unverified: the exact exam date for each scheme and branch, and whether every scheme and semester appears on the page yet. I could not open the official portal myself, so your own hall ticket and the Board’s time table are the final word on dates, subjects and centre.

What has been released

The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh (AP SBTET) has opened its diploma hall ticket page. The reported route is the Board’s download page for diploma hall tickets, where a student enters the PIN, completes whatever verification the page asks for, and views the ticket on screen. The PIN is the permanent identification number your polytechnic gave you at admission.

This is the document for the semester examinations of students already enrolled in diploma and polytechnic courses. It is not an entrance-test admit card. One practical point sits on top of everything else: a hall ticket that opens on screen is not the same as a hall ticket that is correct. The checks in the sections below matter more than the download itself.

Make sure it is the right board

Three different documents share nearly the same name, and each is issued by a different body.

AP SBTET is the Andhra Pradesh board. Its hall ticket is for diploma semester exams. TS SBTET is the Telangana board, which runs its own diploma exams from a different website. AP POLYCET is the entrance test for admission into diploma courses, so it has nothing to do with a semester hall ticket.

The confusion is not hypothetical. One job site’s page for the AP SBTET hall ticket carries a Telangana SBTET web address in its headline. The Telangana board, meanwhile, posted its own diploma November 2026 time table on 4 November 2026, for its own schemes. A Telangana time table is useless to an Andhra Pradesh student, and a Telangana website cannot generate an AP hall ticket. If the web address you are about to type does not end in sbtet.ap.gov.in, stop.

The September notification date appears on a student-news notification listing, and the hall ticket date appears in the FirstJob24 report. The 20 August results date comes from the same report. I could not match any of these to the Board’s own pages, so treat them as reported.

The exam-date puzzle

This is the part most hall ticket articles skip, and it affects whether you have time to fix a problem.

The FirstJob24 report says that one education news site reported odd-semester practical and internal exams from 25 to 31 October 2026 and theory board exams from 2 to 7 November 2026, and adds that this is not confirmed for all schemes. Put that next to the hall ticket date and the numbers do not fit. If theory papers began on 2 November, a hall ticket page that opened on 4 November would be opening after the first theory papers had started. Either the reported dates are wrong, or they apply to only some schemes, or the hall ticket page is for papers that fall later.

The Board’s own habit points the same way. The report notes that in the last notice, hall tickets could be downloaded about one week before the exams started. A general student-guide page for AP SBTET similarly says hall tickets are allowed to be downloaded about ten days before the exams. If either pattern held this time, the exams would begin in the days after 4 November, not before it.

I cannot settle which is true, and the sources I read do not either. So do not plan around the 2 to 7 November rumour or my reading of the pattern. Open your hall ticket, read the date and session for each subject, and compare it against the official time table section on sbtet.ap.gov.in. If your hall ticket shows a paper that is today or tomorrow, that is the moment to contact your college, not later.

How to download

  1. Type sbtet.ap.gov.in into your browser and open the diploma hall ticket page. Do not use a link from a messaging group.
  2. Enter your PIN with no spaces, and fill any other detail the page asks for, such as a scheme or a captcha.
  3. Submit, and let the hall ticket open on screen.
  4. Read it line by line before you save anything.
  5. Download the PDF and print it clearly. The report recommends a colour print so the photograph is legible.
  6. Keep a soft copy on your phone and two or three extra printed copies.

If the page is slow, wait a few minutes and try again. A page like this is crowded in the first days after release. A computer with an up-to-date browser is a safer choice than a phone for the first attempt.

What to check on the hall ticket

The details the report lists for the ticket are your name and PIN, photograph and signature, course or branch and semester, scheme (such as C-23, C-20 or C-16), subject names and codes, exam date and session, centre name and address, and the exam instructions.

The subject list deserves the longest look. A missing subject or a wrong scheme can turn a regular attempt into a supplementary one, and it is far easier to correct before the exam than after. Compare each line with what you registered for. Then check the photograph and the centre address, and put the centre on a map today so you know how long the trip takes.

If anything is wrong, the report’s advice is to contact your college Principal, HOD or examination branch immediately, with a screenshot, so they can inform the Board. Do not wait for the last day.

Why a hall ticket may not appear

The report points out that paying the exam fee alone does not give you a hall ticket. You must also be eligible under the Board’s rules, and these points come from the Board’s March/April 2026 exam notice, not from the October/November notice, so your current notice may differ in small ways.

Hall tickets depend on final attendance, which your HOD records and posts on the portal. If attendance is not updated, or you are short, the ticket may not be generated. Your Principal and HOD also have to verify the details. A candidate who is not eligible but writes the exam anyway loses the fee and the exam is cancelled. In that earlier notice, all final-semester students (5th semester in that report) also had to pay the certificate fee, or the hall ticket was not generated. Read your own notice to see whether the same rule is in it.

Here is the practical consequence. If you cannot find your ticket, the cause is usually on the college side, not the website: attendance not posted, fee not completed or details not verified. Visit the college office in person, with your PIN, fee receipt and any condonation receipt, rather than refreshing the page.

Common problems and fixes

A PIN that comes up as not found is often a typing slip or an extra space. If it still fails, ask your college office to confirm the PIN. A ticket that is not generated sends you to your HOD or Principal. A blurred or missing photograph is reported to the college, which asks the Board to correct it. A wrong subject or centre goes to the college examination branch before the exam, with a screenshot. If the printout looks poor, download the PDF again and print from a computer, not from a screenshot.

Schemes covered

The report lists C-23 as the latest scheme, with regular and supplementary students as notified, and C-20 and C-16 as mostly supplementary or backlog students, depending on the branch. Pharmacy exams (ER-91 and ER-2020) are notified separately by the Board. Which semesters and schemes sit in this cycle is decided by the Board’s notification, so a first-year student on the latest scheme and a backlog candidate on an older one may see different dates.

Some general student-guide pages describe AP SBTET exams as pen-and-paper, with odd semesters (1st, 3rd, 5th) in October and November and each paper lasting three hours. That is a general description, not a statement from this notice, so confirm the duration and timing on your ticket.

Exam day rules

The reported instructions are that you carry the printed hall ticket, because students are generally not allowed in without it, and a valid ID card as your college requires. Reach the centre well before reporting time, and the report suggests half an hour early as a safe habit. Check the centre address the day before. Do not carry mobile phones, smart watches or other electronic devices into the hall unless the Board allows it. Use the pen colour the instructions specify, and write your PIN and details carefully on the answer sheet. Practical exams follow the schedule the Board and your college set.

A sensible checklist: the printed hall ticket and one spare copy, the college ID card, pens, pencils and an eraser, a scientific calculator if your subject allows one, and a clear water bottle if the centre permits it. Leave the phone outside the hall, even if it holds your soft copy.

Fees: an old reference only

The report gives fees from the Board’s March/April 2026 notice “as a guide” and warns that the October/November amounts may differ. In that notice, the diploma exam fee was Rs. 550 and the pharmacy exam fee was Rs. 800. Late payment, including the exam fee, was Rs. 1,150, and the Tatkal scheme was Rs. 3,000 including the exam fee. The pass certificate fee for eligible final-semester candidates was Rs. 600 and the condonation fee was Rs. 800. Fees are non-refundable.

Do not use these numbers to budget for this cycle. Fees for this session are in your own notice on the official site, and payment is only on the official portal.

Staying safe

A hall ticket is free to download. The report is plain that nobody can give you a hall ticket or marks for money, and that you should not pay an agent or a social media page. Do not share your PIN or personal details with unknown people or links. The only place to download is the Board’s own website.

After the exam

Results appear on the Board’s website, and you will need your PIN or hall ticket number, and a date of birth where the result page asks. No result date has been announced for this session. The report gives separate result pages for C-23 and for C-20 and C-16, and says the online result is provisional, with the original marksheet going to your college.

For post-result services, the report quotes the August 2026 results cycle: re-counting Rs. 600, photocopy Rs. 1,000 and re-verification Rs. 4,500, each per subject. Those may change, so read the new notice when results come out. The three options are not interchangeable. Re-counting checks totals, photocopy gives you a copy of the evaluated paper, and re-verification is a fuller re-check. If you are only unsure about arithmetic, the cheapest of the three is the sensible first step. That ordering is my reading of the names, not an official explanation, so check what each service covers in the notice.

What to do in the next 48 hours

Download and print the hall ticket today. Write out your subjects, dates and sessions in a small table and stick it where you study. Check the centre on a map and plan the journey. If anything on the ticket looks wrong, go to your college examination branch tomorrow morning, not on the eve of the paper. If the ticket will not generate, go to your HOD with your PIN and fee receipt. Then spend the remaining time on previous question papers, diagrams, formulas and definitions, and sleep properly before each paper.

FAQs

Is the hall ticket for the October/November 2026 exams out? Per a report dated 4 November 2026, the download page is active on sbtet.ap.gov.in. I could not verify the page myself.

Where are the exam dates? On your hall ticket and in the Time Tables section of the official AP SBTET website. One reported range of 2 to 7 November for theory papers is described as unconfirmed for all schemes and does not sit easily with a hall ticket that opened on 4 November.

I paid the fee, but my hall ticket is not generating. Why? The fee alone is not enough. Attendance recorded by your HOD, verification by your Principal and any certificate fee that applies can all hold up the ticket. Visit your college office with your PIN and receipts.

Can I use the Telangana SBTET site or my POLYCET admit card? No. Telangana has its own board and its own exams, and AP POLYCET is an entrance test, not a semester hall ticket.

Will the fee amounts in this article apply to my exam? Not necessarily. They come from the March/April 2026 notice. Use your own notice for this session’s fees.
