Barkatullah University Result 2026 Out: B.A NEP Year II & B.Com Plain Year 1 Result, Direct Link & Details RESULT OUT

Barkatullah University, Bhopal, released two undergraduate results on 26 October 2026. They are B.A NEP Year II (April 2026 session) and B.Com Plain Year 1 (December 2025 session, Ex ATKT). Still pending: results for any other UG course not listed, and any revaluation notice for these two results. I could not find a revaluation window for them.

Sourcing note: the release is reported by FreeJobAlert (updated 27 October, 11:15 AM IST), which links to the university’s Online Result page. I could not open that page myself, so check your row there before relying on a headline.

What “UG result out” actually covers

Barkatullah University released results for B.A NEP Year II (April 2026) and B.Com Plain Year 1 (December 2025, Ex ATKT) on 26 October 2026, and students can check them through the Online Result page. That is two exams, not the whole undergraduate list. Headlines saying “UG result out” are accurate for those two rows and for nobody else.

If you are in B.Sc, B.Com NEP, BBA, BCA or any other UG course, this release does not cover you. Don’t read a reassuring headline as your result being ready. Open the university’s list and look for your course, year and session by name.

What was released in recent weeks

The university has released results in batches through 2026. The rows I could find:

Date Results
29 Apr 2026 Multiple UG and PG, including B.Sc, B.Com, MA, BEd, LLB, BALLB
24 Jun 2026 MTech, BTech, MA and others
3 Sep 2026 December 2025 Semester I, UG and PG (reported)
29 Sep 2026 B.A Plain Regular Year IV; B.Sc Home Science Plain Year III (April 2026)
1 Oct 2026 B.Sc B.Ed Sem I and III; M.Ed Sem IV; M.Sc Maths Private Sem I (ATKT); MFSc Sem I
26 Oct 2026 B.A NEP Year II (April 2026); B.Com Plain Year 1 Ex ATKT (December 2025)

The 29 September results appear on the university’s Online Result page under the UG category, and their links open on the MP Online portal. The pattern is a steady trickle. FindMyCollege lists UG and PG results for the December 2025 session across June and July as well. Results arrive a few at a time, and a course missing from today’s list may appear in a later batch. No schedule for the rest is published.

How to check the result

  1. Open the university’s Online Result page at bubhopal.ac.in/1594/Online-Result.
  2. Find your course and session in the list: B.A NEP Year II April 2026, or B.Com Plain Year 1 December 2025 Ex ATKT.
  3. Open the link for your row.
  4. Enter the details the portal asks for and submit.
  5. Save or print the result.

FreeJobAlert says the portal asks for details such as roll number or enrolment number, and that the exact fields may differ from what its guide describes. Other portals mention only the roll number, and one aggregator mentions a date of birth, so follow what the page itself asks.

The links for both rows open the same MP Online page, bubhopal.mponline.gov.in, on a result viewing screen. That is normal for this university, but it looks like a different site from bubhopal.ac.in. Reach it from the university’s own result list, not through an unfamiliar link.

What the online result is, and isn’t

The article’s own advice is that the online result is for information and the original marksheet issued by the university is the official document. Treat the page as a first look. Check your name, course, session and marks against your own records.

If something is wrong, FreeJobAlert advises contacting your college or the university’s examination department with your details and a copy of the result. I found no helpline number or email in the sources and won’t guess one. Go to your college’s exam section first, because they usually forward corrections to the university.

Retotaling, answer-book viewing and revaluation

Barkatullah University accepts these three applications through the MPOnline examination portal, with a separate notification for each result giving the dates, eligibility and fee. I could not find a notification for the 26 October results. FreeJobAlert’s article says only to watch the university site and your college notice board.

The fees reported in secondary sources are below. They come from CareerIndia, so confirm them on MPOnline before paying.

Service Reported fee Notes
Retotaling ₹20 (1 subject), ₹40 (2), ₹100 (3 or 4) Rechecks addition, not answers
Answer-book view ₹250 per paper Up to 4 papers
Revaluation ₹200 per subject Up to 2 subjects
Portal fee ₹25 Added to each

CareerIndia reports retotaling costs ₹20 for one subject, ₹40 for two and ₹100 for three or four. Viewing an answer book is ₹250 per paper plus a ₹25 portal fee. It reports revaluation at ₹200 for up to two subjects, plus ₹25.

By my arithmetic, viewing a paper (₹250) costs more than revaluing it (₹200). If you suspect a marking error and plan to challenge it anyway, applying for revaluation directly can be cheaper than looking at the script first. The script helps if you want to see why the marks are what they are.

Retotaling is the cheapest option. It catches only addition mistakes, such as a question missed in the total, a transcription error from the answer book to the mark sheet, or a missing part. It will not raise a mark you think was marked too severely.

Availability varies by course. For several June 2026 postgraduate CBCS programmes, only retotaling and answer-book view appeared on the portal, and revaluation was disabled that cycle. Another CareerIndia item says revaluation is mainly allowed in annual schemes. Whether it is open for a B.A NEP year or a B.Com ex-ATKT result is not something I could establish.

Windows are course-specific and short. For June 2026 programmes, the reported window ran from 15 to 30 October. The portal lists a date, not a closing hour. If a window opens for your result, don’t leave it to the last day.

What “Ex ATKT” suggests, and what I couldn’t confirm

FreeJobAlert says ATKT usually stands for “Allowed to Keep Terms.” The “Ex ATKT” label on the B.Com row is the university’s own wording. I could not find a definition on the sources I read, so I won’t explain what it means for your status.

What I can say is that the label tells you which exam this is. A regular B.Com Year 1 result and a B.Com Year 1 Ex ATKT result are separate rows. If you took the exam as an ex or ATKT candidate, look at the row labelled that way and not the regular one.

What to do next

These are general steps, not university rules.

If you passed, save your result and wait for the original marksheet through your college. Keep a printout for admission to the next year or for any form that asks for last year’s marks.

If you failed or are unhappy with a mark, don’t act on the first reaction. Compare each paper’s marks with what you expected. Check for a missing paper or a wrong subject code. Then check whether the university has opened a retotaling, view or revaluation window for your result.

If you passed but want better marks, retotaling is unlikely to help unless you suspect an addition error. Revaluation can change marks in either direction, so weigh that before applying. I have not seen BU’s rule on marks going down after revaluation, so confirm it before you apply.

Mistakes worth avoiding

Don’t assume that a result for your course is out because a headline says “UG result out.” Check the row.

Don’t treat the online page as your marksheet for admission, scholarship or job forms. Wait for the original.

Don’t pay anyone to “get” or “boost” your result. The check is free on the official page, and revaluation is a portal service with published fees.

Don’t copy dates and fees from older revaluation articles. BU’s windows and fees are listed per course and per session, and several of the reports I found date from different exam cycles.
