RPSC has published the final answer keys for all eight subjects of the Lecturer (Ayurved Dept.) Exam-2025, dated 28 October 2026 on its own website, and job portals report that marks and the main merit list are also out. Still pending: the department’s appointment orders, and the exact number of posts is not confirmed by an official document I could open (see below).
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) ran this recruitment through a computer-based recruitment test (CBRT) on 12 January 2026. The provisional (model) answer keys came out on 19 February 2026, objections were taken, and the final keys have now replaced them. This article covers where to find your subject’s final key, how it differs from the provisional one, what it means for your marks and what comes next.
What is confirmed and what is not
| Item | Status | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Final answer key, all 8 subjects | Released 28 October 2026 | RPSC website listing, as indexed, and job portals |
| Provisional (model) key | Released 19 February 2026 | Job portals reporting the RPSC notice |
| Exam | CBRT on 12 January 2026 | Job portals |
| Marks | Reported released 28 October 2026 | Job portals |
| Main merit list | Reported released 28 October 2026 | Job portals; see the date note below |
| Number of posts | 9, “as per media reports” | Job portals, not an RPSC document I opened |
| Further objections to the final key | Not accepted | Job portal reporting |
One date needs care. The RPSC homepage listing, as I could see it, shows entries titled “Result Preamble and Cutoff Marks” (main list and reserve list) for Ayurved Lecturer subjects dated 26 October 2026, and the final answer keys dated 28 October 2026. Job portals say the merit list was out on 28 October. The most likely reason is that some items were posted two days apart, but I can’t confirm that. Go by the dates printed on RPSC’s own site.
The eight subjects
RPSC has issued a separate final key for each: Agad Tantra, Kayachikitsa, Kaumarbhritya, Panchkarma, Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga, Samhita (Maulik Siddhant), Shalakya Tantra and Swasthvritta. Media reports put the posts at one each, except Swasthvritta with two, which totals nine.
How to download the final answer key
- Open rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Look in the News and Events section for “Final Answer Key for Lecturer (Ayurved Dept.) Exam-2025”, followed by your subject name.
- Open the PDF for your subject only. Each subject has its own file.
- Compare it with your recorded responses and save a copy.
Why the final key can change your result
The provisional key is RPSC’s first answer sheet. The final key is what is left after the commission reviewed the objections. Questions can be dropped, answers can be changed, and sometimes more than one option is accepted. The result is computed on the final key, not the provisional one.
That is the useful part. If you scored yourself in February using the model key, that number is now out of date. A question you were sure you lost may have been dropped, which helps everyone, or an answer you marked correctly may have been changed. Re-score from the final key, from scratch, before you compare your marks with the merit list.
You can’t object to the final key
Job portals report that no further objections are accepted at this stage. That follows the usual pattern, since the objection window was on the provisional key. I could not find an official appeal route in the sources I checked, so I won’t invent one. If your marks on RPSC’s marks list don’t match what the final key gives you, note the roll number, the version of your paper, the question numbers and your own working. Then approach RPSC through the contact details on its official website.
Checking your marks and the merit list
Marks are listed in the Results section of the RPSC site. The merit list for each subject is a separate PDF, so open the one for your subject and search for your roll number. Since most subjects had a single post, each list is expected to be very short. A name in the main list is a recommendation, and it is provisional until the department checks your documents.
Cut-off 2026 and previous-year cut-off
The RPSC homepage lists “Result Preamble and Cutoff Marks” PDFs for this recruitment. I could see the titles but could not open the files, so I am not quoting any figure. Open the PDF for your subject to see the official cut-off and compare it with your marks. For the previous-year cut-off, I did not find a verified figure for an earlier cycle of this same recruitment, so there is no earlier number to give you. With one or two posts per subject, a cut-off from another year would not tell you much anyway.
Recruitment snapshot
The details below come from job-portal reports on the recruitment, not from an RPSC document I opened. Read the original advertisement on the RPSC site for exact wording.
Vacancy. Nine posts across eight subjects, as above. Category-wise vacancy was not in the sources I checked.
Dates. A job portal reports applications ran from 20 February 2025 to 21 March 2025. Admit cards were released on 9 January 2026, and the exam was held on 12 January 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
Education qualification. I did not find the full eligibility clause. Reports on the post-selection stage say the department checks BAMS and MD/MS (Ayurveda) degrees and registration with the Rajasthan Board of Indian Medicine or the relevant council.
Age limit, application fee and salary. I did not find these in the sources I checked, so I am not stating them. They are in the original RPSC advertisement.
Selection process. A written CBRT followed by an interview, then the main merit list, according to job-portal reports. A report also describes this CBRT as RPSC’s first online exam in about seven years.
Syllabus and exam pattern. Each subject had its own paper, so there is no single syllabus. The marks and number of questions are in the advertisement.
Job profile. The post is a Lecturer in the Ayurveda department of the Government of Rajasthan.
What happens next
RPSC sends the recommended names to the Ayurveda department. The department then checks your original documents, which can include your degrees, registration, date-of-birth proof, category certificates and domicile where relevant, and may call for a medical fitness test before it issues an appointment order with your posting. Keep the originals and self-attested copies ready, and watch both RPSC and the department’s website.
A point most candidates miss
This recruitment had an unusual document check. A job portal reports that RPSC found 19 candidates had filed 169 applications for these nine posts, and called them for document verification on 29 September 2025. If you filed more than one application, the details on each need to match your documents exactly. A mismatch can lead to cancellation even after selection.

FAQs
I scored myself on the model key in February. Is my score still valid?
No. Results use the final key, which may drop questions or change answers. Re-score from the final key for your subject before you read anything into your marks.
Where do I find the key if my paper was for Swasthvritta?
Open the Swasthvritta final key on the RPSC site. Each of the eight subjects has its own PDF, and Swasthvritta is the one subject reported with two posts.
Can I still raise an objection?
Not through a formal window, according to job-portal reports. If your marks don’t match the final key, collect your evidence and write to RPSC through its official contact details.
Is a place in the main merit list a job offer?
No. It is a provisional recommendation. The department’s document check and any medical test come before an appointment order.
