from several education-portal reports (I could not open TNPSC’s own press release): the hall ticket for the Field Assistant Physical Fitness Test under Notification No. 13/2025 was released on 31 October 2026, and the test runs from 11 to 14 November 2026. Still pending or not stated in the reports: the list of physical events, your personal test date and venue (printed only on your own hall ticket), and what happens after the test.
First, which hall ticket is this?
The search term “TNPSC CTS hall ticket 2026” now covers three different hall tickets, and candidates are mixing them up. If you download or read the wrong one, you will check the wrong date.
| Exam | Notification | Hall ticket released | Test dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| CTS Non-Interview Posts | 04/2026 | 6 August 2026 | 16 August to 19 September 2026 |
| CTS Diploma / ITI Level | 06/2026 | 2 October 2026 (Press Release No. 115/2026) | 11 October to 24 November 2026 |
| CTS Field Assistant (Physical Fitness Test) | 13/2025 | 31 October 2026 | 11 to 14 November 2026 |
The table is built from reports by Adda247, FreeJobAlert and FirstJob24. The 31 October release is the one trending today.
Two cautions. First, portals call the Field Assistant exam “Diploma Level-II” in some places and “ITI Level” in others. Do not use the level name to identify your exam. Use the notification number, 13/2025, and the post name Field Assistant. Second, there is a different Field Assistant recruitment under Notification No. 11/2025 (the Group II and IIA services, for forest posts). FreshersLive reported that its eligibility and endurance tests were set for 24 and 25 August 2026 under TNPSC Press Release No. 98/2026. That is a separate exam with its own hall ticket.
Field Assistant (13/2025): key dates
| Event | Date |
|---|---|
| Notification issued | 3 September 2025 |
| Online applications | 3 September to 2 October 2025 |
| Written exam | 16 November 2025 |
| Marks and rank published | 8–9 April 2026 |
| Physical Fitness Test hall ticket | 31 October 2026 |
| Physical Fitness Test | 11 to 14 November 2026 |
CareerPower reported 1,794 vacancies in this recruitment, for the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, and said marks of 14,221 candidates were published in April. Treat those two numbers as reported by that portal, not as confirmed from the TNPSC notice.
Who gets this hall ticket
Only candidates shortlisted for the Physical Fitness Test. The reports describe it as the next stage after the written exam, so if you did not appear in the written exam of 16 November 2025, or were not shortlisted, there is no hall ticket for you in this round. That is a real reason a login can show nothing.
The reports do not say how many candidates were shortlisted or on what basis.
How to download
- Go to tnpsc.gov.in and open the hall ticket link for the Combined Technical Services Examination, Field Assistant.
- Log in through your One Time Registration (OTR) dashboard. Portals disagree on the exact login field, naming Application Number, Registration Number or OTR ID together with date of birth. Use whatever the TNPSC page asks for.
- Check the details, download the PDF and take a clear printout.
TNPSC’s own CTS Diploma/ITI notification (the 2025 edition) says hall tickets are made available on its exam portal, www.tnpscexams.in, and that a candidate gets a venue in one of the two district centres chosen at the time of application, with no change of centre allowed. I read that in the Diploma/ITI notification, not in the Field Assistant one, so check your own hall ticket for the same rule. The lesson holds either way: go only to TNPSC’s own domains, and keep away from sites that ask for money or ask you to “register” for a hall ticket.
What to check on the hall ticket
Verify the notification number (13/2025), the post name (Field Assistant), your name, photograph and date of birth, your test date, the reporting time and the venue. The reports say the reporting time and venue are printed on your own hall ticket, and that you should reach before the time shown. The four-day window does not mean you can pick a day. If anything is wrong, contact TNPSC through the contact details on its official site and do not wait for test day.
What to carry
Carry the printout of the hall ticket. The reports tell candidates to read the instructions TNPSC has issued for the test to know the documents and other requirements. In the general CTS written-exam guidance, portals also name a valid photo ID, so keep your original ID with you, but confirm the list against your own hall ticket and the TNPSC instructions.
Physical Fitness Test: what is known
The reports do not list the events or the standards. FirstJob24 advises reading the Physical Standards section of Notification No. 13/2025 on tnpsc.gov.in, and that is the right source. Do not trust a social-media list of events or marks. With the test starting on Wednesday 11 November, you have roughly eleven days from today. Plan the trip to your venue, get your certificates and ID in one folder, and train for the events the notification names.
Exam pattern, syllabus, cut-off and result
There is no new written paper at this stage, so there is no syllabus and no new exam pattern for this hall ticket. The written exam was held on 16 November 2025, and its marks and ranks were published in April 2026. I did not find an official cut-off figure in the sources I checked. Result of the Physical Fitness Test: not announced, and the reports do not say when it will be.
The reports also do not say what follows the test. One earlier report described the process as a written exam followed by document verification. Do not assume the PFT changes that without reading the notice.
