from job-portal reports of Andhra University’s results portal: the university releases results in rolling batches, and the latest batch we found is the M.Sc Nuclear Physics fourth semester result of 2 November 2026. A batch of six on 29 October included B.Tech and B.Tech+M.Tech revaluation Phase-II results. Still pending: results for the odd-semester exams that run through October and November 2026, and any batch after 2 November. We could not open the portal, so every date below is as reported by portals.
There is no single “Andhra University result 2026
Searching this phrase turns up dozens of pages that all say “result out”. They are all correct, and they describe different things. Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, publishes results on its examination portal, results.andhrauniversity.edu.in, one course and one semester at a time. Some batches carry one result, others carry more than a dozen. Revaluation results, regular and supplementary results, and special examination results all appear in the same stream.
So “is my result out” has a narrower answer than the headline suggests. It depends on your course, your semester, which exam session you wrote and whether you are looking for the original result or the revaluation result.
Recent batches
The batches below are as reported by FreeJobAlert, 24x7JobAlerts and similar portals. The portal list will have more.

| 21 September 2026 | Five results: B.Tech revaluation for first, third and fifth semesters, and M.Sc Geology and Applied Geology first-semester results |
The pace is steady: batches appear every few days to every two weeks, with no fixed day of the week visible in this list.
Reading the semester codes
Andhra University labels semesters as year and semester, not as a single number. The code (1-1) is first year, first semester. (1-2) is first year, second semester. (2-1) is second year, first semester, and so on up to (4-2) for the eighth semester of a four-year course. The reports use both forms, for example “Fifth Semester (3-1)” and “Seventh Semester (4-1)”.
This matters when you scan the list. If you are in the third year and wrote your first semester of that year, you are looking for (3-1), not for a result labelled “third semester” with a different code. The listings usually give both.
How long results take: what the dates show
The table below compares the exam month with the release date, using only batches reported above. The gaps are our arithmetic and are approximate.
| Exam | Exam held | Result released | Approximate gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| B.Tech/B.Tech+M.Tech 1-2, regular and supplementary | May 2026 | 7 August 2026 | About 3 months |
| B.Ed (Special Education) 1-2 | July 2026 | Late October 2026 | About 3 months |
| M.A English 2-2 and M.Sc Geography 2-2 | April 2026 | 3 August 2026 | About 4 months |
| M.Sc Botany and Microbiology 1-2 | April 2026 | 29 October 2026 | About 6 months |
| M.Sc Nuclear Physics 2-2 | April 2026 | 2 November 2026 | About 7 months |
| UG 1-1 revaluation | February 2026 | 15 October 2026 | About 8 months |
| B.Tech 1-1 revaluation, Phase-I | December 2025 | 21 September 2026 | About 9 months |
| B.Tech 1-1 revaluation, Phase-II | December 2025 | 29 October 2026 | About 10 months |
Two things stand out. First, the gap is not fixed. Courses with the same exam month, such as April 2026 M.Sc papers, got their results anywhere from three to seven months later. A course finishing early does not tell you when yours will be next. Second, revaluation results come far after the original exam. Anyone who applied for revaluation should plan for months, not weeks.
So a result that is “not out yet” three months after your exam is within the pattern seen in these batches. It is not a sign that something went wrong.
How to check your result
- Open results.andhrauniversity.edu.in. Type the address yourself.
- Find your course, semester and exam session in the list of released results. The list is long, so use the browser’s find function.
- Open the link for your entry.
- Enter your registration or hall ticket number when asked. Portals describe it as one or the other, so use whichever the page asks for.
- Submit, then save a copy or screenshot of the result.
Some sites describe the portal as exams.andhrauniversity.edu.in or andhrauniversity.edu.in. The results portal address cited by most reports is results.andhrauniversity.edu.in. If you reach a page asking for a fee or your password, you are not on the results page.

Revaluation: phases and limits
Revaluation results appear in phases. In the batches above, B.Tech and B.Tech+M.Tech first, third and fifth semester revaluation for the December 2025 exams came out as Phase-I on 21 September 2026 and as Phase-II on 29 October 2026, about 38 days later. For the same exam, then, Phase-I and Phase-II are separate releases, and each covers different answer scripts.
If you applied for revaluation and your paper is not in the Phase-I result, the reports suggest checking for a Phase-II listing before assuming the paper was missed. We have not seen the university’s own explanation of how scripts are divided between phases, so confirm it with the examination office.
One portal reports that revaluation is available only for theory papers. Practical exams, project reports, viva voce and internal assessment marks are not eligible. That single-portal report is the only source we found for the restriction, so check the university’s revaluation notification.
We did not find the revaluation application dates or fee for the current cycle. Those are in the university’s examination notifications, not in the result listings.
If your result is not listed
Work through these checks before assuming the worst:
- Right session? A result is listed under the month the exam was held, not the month of release. A result for “April 2026” exams may appear in November.
- Right code? Check the year-semester code and the course name, especially for combined courses such as B.Tech+M.Tech or Integrated BBA-MBA.
- Right type? Regular and supplementary results are listed together. Revaluation is listed separately under its own phase.
- Not released yet? If the gap since your exam is under about three months, the table above suggests waiting.
- Still missing after that? Contact your college or the Controller of Examinations’ office with your hall ticket number and exam details.
Common mix-ups on result pages
Counts of results. One page says 14 results were released on 15 October, another says six on 29 October. These counts include revaluation entries and multiple courses in the same batch. They are not 14 or six separate exams for you.
Sites that say “out” without a course. A page headed “Andhra University Result 2026 Out” may be a tracker for the whole portal. Read the course, semester and exam month in the first paragraph before you click.
Old pages. An older Collegedunia page from 2023 says students enter a register number to view the result and then collect the consolidated marks list and original degree from the Controller of Examinations’ office. That is from an earlier year. Check with your college for the current process.
Odd-semester results: what to expect
CollegeDekho reports that odd-semester exams (first, third, fifth and seventh semesters) are held in October and November 2026, with results expected in December 2026 to January 2027. That is an estimate. The gap table above suggests the first batches of those results could arrive in the first quarter of 2027, but we have no official schedule. Treat both as unconfirmed.
After the result
A portal result is the first step. For college certificates, backlog applications and original documents, follow your college’s instructions. If you plan to apply for supplementary exams or revaluation, wait for the notification with dates and fees. Keep the result screenshot and your hall ticket number until the official marks memo is in your hands.
Staying safe
A result page needs only your hall ticket or registration number. It will not ask you to pay to see a result or to share a password or OTP. Don’t download “result PDFs” from channels you haven’t verified, and don’t forward your hall ticket number to strangers who offer to check it. The result page is free.

FAQs
Is the Andhra University result 2026 out? Some results are out and others are not. The latest batch we found is dated 2 November 2026. Whether yours is out depends on your course, semester and exam session.
What does the code (3-1) mean? Third year, first semester. The first number is the year of the course and the second is the semester within that year, so (2-2) is second year, second semester.
I applied for revaluation. Where is my result? Revaluation results appear separately and in phases. B.Tech revaluation for the December 2025 exams was released in two phases, 21 September and 29 October 2026. Check for Phase-II if your paper was not in Phase-I.
Can practical exams be revalued? One portal says only theory papers qualify, and that practicals, projects, viva and internal marks do not. Confirm this in the university’s notification.
When will the odd-semester results come? No official date. One portal estimates December 2026 to January 2027, and the lags in recent batches suggest it could take longer.
