| Mon 12 Oct |
Part 2: go through the topic list for your post, and focus on the most-tested areas: safety rules and Acts for Mining Sirdar (Mines Act, Coal Mines Regulations 2017, DGMS circulars), and machines, switchgear, earthing and safety for Assistant Foreman. Solve practice questions in a 54-second-per-question rhythm. |

|
11. Smart exam-day strategy
|
| Attempt every question |
There is no negative marking. A guess can only help you. |
| Start with Part 2 |
It has 80 marks and tests your own subject. Answer what you know first, then come back to the rest. |
| Do not get stuck |
If a question takes more than about a minute, mark it and move on |
| Use the English version when in doubt |
If the Hindi and English wording differ, the English version is final |
| Know your target |
Reach at least the qualifying mark for your category (50 / 45 / 40). But since only about three times the vacancies are called later, aim as high as you can. |
