4. Educational Qualification
|
For both posts:
- Graduate degree from a recognised University
- Recognised teacher training qualification such as B.T.C. / D.El.Ed. / B.El.Ed. / Special B.T.C. / Diploma in Special Education (RCI recognised)
- Must have qualified Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) – Paper-I (UPTET or CTET) for Classes 1 to 5

5. Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026)

- Assistant Teacher (Urban): Minimum 21 years and Maximum 40 years
- Assistant Teacher (Sambaddh Primary): Minimum 21 years (upper age linked to superannuation at 62 years)
Age Relaxation (for Urban post):
- SC / ST / OBC of Uttar Pradesh: 5 years
- PwBD: 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per rules
- Shiksha Mitra: Maximum age up to 60 years

- Marking: +3 for correct answer, –1 for wrong answer
- Paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English)
