OSC — Ex-Servicemen (OSC ESM) 01
BCA 02
BCB 02
BCA — Ex-Servicemen (BCA-ESM) 01
PH (Physically Handicapped) 01
Total 20

The category names follow Haryana’s reservation system. DSC and OSC are the two Scheduled Caste groups (Deprived Scheduled Castes and Other Scheduled Castes), and BCA and BCB are the two Backward Class groups. The notice says Haryana Government policies on reservation and age will be followed. The five single-seat posts are all for Unreserved candidates, so no category benefit is available for them.

5. What the Numbers Tell You

  • Yoga Instructor has 20 of the 25 posts (80%). If you hold a Yoga diploma and 10+2, this is your best chance, though the pay (₹8,000) is the lowest.
  • The other five posts have just one seat each, so competition will be strong, especially for the Medical Officer and Specialist posts.
  • Pay gap is large: the Specialist gets about 6 times the Yoga Instructor’s remuneration (₹50,000 against ₹8,000). Choose a post that matches your qualification and your time, since each post needs a separate application.
  • Ex-servicemen get 4 of the 20 Yoga Instructor seats (Gen ESM 2, OSC ESM 1, BCA-ESM 1).

6. Educational Qualification — Post-Wise

Post Essential Qualification
Specialist (Ayurvedic Spl.) Master’s degree in Ayurveda, plus the Medical Officer qualification given below. Knowledge of Hindi up to Matric standard.
Medical Officer A degree in the Ayurvedic System of Medicine (regular course of at least five years) from a university or institution recognised by the Government.
Pharmacist / Dispenser Up-Vaidya from a recognised university, institution, board or faculty of Indian System of Medicines established by law in India and recognised by the Government; Matric or equivalent; knowledge of Hindi and English up to Matric standard.
Masseur Secondary School, plus a Certificate Course in Ayurvedic Masseur / Therapy of six months or more from a Government or private institution recognised by the Central or State Government.
Attendant Matriculation from a recognised board; Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric; should be able to read and write Hindi. Desirable: one year of experience in a Government or private hospital or health institution.
Yoga Instructor (Part Time) 10+2 from HBSE / CBSE / an equivalent school education board, with Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in Matric (or Hindi as a subject in higher standard), plus a Diploma in Yoga of at least one year from a UGC-accredited university.

If you got your Diploma or Degree through distance mode, your university must be approved by the Distance Education Council or the joint committee of DEC, UGC and AICTE, or another statutory body. Keep the proof of approval ready, since the notice lists it as a required document for distance-mode candidates.

7. Age Limit

Minimum Age 18 years
Maximum Age 42 years
Age Counted On 1 September 2026
Relaxation As per Haryana Government instructions (no chart is printed in the notice)

8. Selection Process and the 50-Mark Scoring

There is no written exam. The office first shortlists applications on qualification and experience, and then holds an interview. The notice gives a 50-mark scoring plan:
No. Criteria Marks
1 Essential basic qualification 30 × (Percentage ÷ 100), maximum 30
2 Relevant work experience after the qualification, in the same field 2 marks per completed year, maximum 10
3 Local area weightage — bonafide resident of Bhiwani district 10 (outside-district candidates get 0)
Total 50
Worked examples (our calculations):

  • Bhiwani resident: 72% in the essential qualification, 3 completed years of experience → 30 × 72 ÷ 100 = 21.6, plus 6 for experience, plus 10 for local weightage = 37.6 out of 50.
  • Candidate from outside the district: 85% and 5 completed years → 25.5 + 10 + 0 = 35.5 out of 50.
  • Fresher, Bhiwani resident: 60% and no experience → 18 + 0 + 10 = 28 out of 50.

See how the first candidate beats the second even with 13% fewer marks in the qualification, only because of the 10 local-area marks. Local weightage is 20% of the whole score, so outside-district candidates start 10 marks behind. If you are not from Bhiwani, you need strong marks and experience to make up the gap.

Experience that counts: relevant work in the same field after your qualification, in a State Government, Semi-Government, UT, any Government Board or Corporation, or NHM — or in a private hospital or lab that is NABH / NABL accredited or ISO certified (or another nationally accredited health institution). Your experience certificate must be supported by a bank statement showing salary from the employer for the period of experience.

One thing is not clear in the notice: it names an interview as the second stage, but the 50-mark table above does not list any interview marks. The sources we could use do not explain how the interview will be scored or used. Please read the official PDF, and ask the office if needed.

9. How to Apply Offline — Step by Step

  1. Open bhiwani.gov.in and download the prescribed application form.
  2. Fill in the form with complete and accurate details, including contact number, email ID and postal address with PIN code.
  3. Paste or affix two passport-size photographs.
  4. Attach self-attested copies of your qualification, experience, domicile and other certificates (see Section 10).
  5. Put the form and papers in an envelope and send them by post or by hand to:O/o District Ayurvedic Office, Campus Civil Hospital AYUSH Wing, Bhiwani, Haryana
  6. Make sure it reaches by 27 October 2026, 4:00 PM.
  7. Keep a full photocopy of your application and any postal receipt.

⚠ The Notice Says Two Different Things About Post: One instruction says applications can come by registered post or by hand, while another says only speed post or by hand will be entertained. Because of this, the safest options are (1) deliver by hand, or (2) send by Speed Post with tracking, and confirm the exact rule in the official PDF or at the office before you post.

10. Documents Checklist

  • Educational certificates and mark sheets (Matric, 10+2, Degree, Diploma, PG — as needed for your post)
  • Experience certificate, with a bank statement showing salary for the experience period
  • Domicile certificate (needed for the local-area marks)
  • Caste certificate, if applicable
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • Proof of approval of your Degree / Diploma from the concerned authority, if you studied by distance mode
  • Valid contact number, email ID and postal address with PIN code, written on the form
  • Self-attested photocopies of everything above

Original documents (for academic qualification and work experience) must be shown at the time of interview, so keep them safe and in order.

11. Mistakes That Can Cost You the Job

  • Experience certificate without a bank statement. If your salary was paid in cash, you may have trouble proving it, so check with the office early.
  • Missing domicile certificate. Without it, you may not get the 10 local-area marks even if you live in Bhiwani.
  • Not attaching self-attested copies, or sending an incomplete application. The Selection Committee can reject any application that is improper or has misleading information.
  • Applying for the wrong post. One application is considered for one post only, so write the post name clearly on your form.
  • Wrong or missing contact details. The notice says it is your responsibility to give an accurate phone number and email ID.
  • Sending it late. Applications reaching after 4:00 PM on 27 October are a risk, and the office does not accept postal delay as a reason.
  • Canvassing. Trying to influence officers leads to immediate disqualification.

12. A Simple Plan Before 27 October

When What to Do

14. Good to Know — This Office Has Recruited Like This Before

The Bhiwani district website’s recruitment page shows that the same District AYUSH Society has run similar contract recruitments before. For example, it published an advertisement in November 2024 for posts in the 25-bedded Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Bhiwani and for 20 Yoga Instructors at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, followed by a corrigendum on 12 December 2024, just three days before that advertisement’s last date. The website also lists a “Revised Result” notice under the NAM scheme dated 6 March 2026.

What it means for you: changes and corrigenda can come after the main advertisement, so check bhiwani.gov.in again a few days before the last date, and just before you post your application. The version of the recruitment page we could open did not yet show this 2026 advertisement, so please check the notice on the website or at the office as well.
