Fitter (24) and Marine Engine Fitter (15) have the most seats, followed by Electrician and Mechanic Diesel (12 each). Apply only for a trade that matches your ITI certificate, because a mismatch between the applied trade and your ITI trade is a reason for rejection.

5. Karwar two-year and non-ITI trades

Trade Qualification Seats UR / OBC / SC / ST
Shipwright Steel (2 years) 10th + ITI Fitter 7 3 / 2 / 1 / 1

Rigger (2 years) 8th pass (fresher) 5 2 / 1 / 1 / 1
Total — 19 8 / 5 / 3 / 3

These three non-ITI trades are the best chance for 10th pass and 8th pass candidates who do not have an ITI certificate. Since the number of seats is small, merit marks will matter.

6. Naval Aircraft Yard (Goa), Dabolim — one-year trades

Computer Operator & Programming Assistant COPA 2
Electrician Electrician 5

Crane Operator Overhead (Steel Industry); Forger & Heat Treater 10th standard pass (fresher)
Rigger 8th standard pass (fresher)

If your school board gives grades or CGPA, you must state the equivalent percentage as per your board’s rules. Without it, your candidature is not considered. If your board uses a grade-point system, get the percentage conversion done by the proper authority before applying.
